John Alker

John is Head of Sustainability at Legal & General Capital, where he challenges and supports the business to align its investments with positive environmental and social impact, working across LGC’s different investment sectors including housing, specialist commercial property, VC and clean energy.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in the sustainability sector, John previously led policy and advocacy for the UK Green Building Council and prior to that worked for WWF-UK in public affairs. John is a Trustee of the Quality of Life Foundation.
