Sally leads Retail’s multi-disciplinary risk team, whose talented and passionate people support its Lending, Protection, Workplace, Annuity, Advice and Fintech businesses.
She joined us in 2011, working her way up through various Group, Institutional and Retail risk roles. She developed a particular focus on Compliance and Conduct Risk, balancing commercial aspirations with positive customer outcomes. Key projects include integrating our lifetime mortgage business after its acquisition and more recently both driving and supporting our Consumer Duty compliance.
Before joining us, Sally was a compliance specialist at Friends Provident, AXA Wealth and Skandia LIFE. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Governance Risk and Compliance and is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association. In 2023 she was shortlisted for the ICA’s Compliance Leader of the Year and her team were named Compliance Team of the Year.
When she’s not at work, Sally enjoys travel, afternoon tea and live entertainment – anything from pop music or comedy at the O2 to the Royal Philharmonic at the Albert Hall or an evening at the theatre.
