Sara’s passionate about the role good financial advice can play in people’s lives. She was instrumental in the creation of Legal & General Financial Advice (LGFA), and since September 2019 has led it as its CEO. LGFA advises people on the retirement lending products offered by Legal & General Home Finance, helping them make best use of their housing assets once they reach later life.
Sara joined Legal & General Retail Retirement as Strategy & Commercial Director in 2018, after spending 13 years as a management consultant and director with EY. There she worked across a broad spectrum of programmes for some of the UK’s biggest life, pension and investment brands.
Sara holds a first-class MA with honours in History from the University of Edinburgh. She lives in London with her husband and their two young children. Outside work Sara is interested in music and film, and is an avid traveller.
