The CMHA’s Thriving at Work assessment helps organisations to measure their progress as they work to build mentally healthy workplaces
1 Feb 2021
It is based on the evidence-based standards set out in the CMHA’s Thriving at Work Guide for organisations to work towards in developing their mental health and wellbeing strategies. This year, the Standards were updated to introduce the integration of mental health across the employee life cycle, driving best practice across the ecosystem, for example through supplier engagement and a stronger focus on inclusion and diversity.
Poppy Jaman, CEO of the City Mental Health Alliance says: "This year the CMHA updated its assessment to provide a more ambitious set of actions for employers to innovate and lead the way in creating mentally healthy workplaces. Receiving the Excelling accreditation in the CMHA Thriving at Work assessment is a fantastic achievement. Companies which are ‘Excelling’ are leading the way when it comes to integrating best practice approaches. As we continue to respond to the pandemic, this accreditation reflects all the work done that is protecting, supporting and creating positive mental health for your workforce."
