Emma was appointed as Chief People Officer on 2 February 2026.

Skills and experience

Emma is a highly experienced HR and communications executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across global financial services, professional services and industrials. 

Before joining L&G, she was Chief People Officer at Man Group, where she led the Group’s people strategy and oversaw talent development across the organisation. Prior to this, Emma spent 17 years at Schroders in senior leadership roles across corporate communications and Human Resources, bringing extensive expertise in culture, talent, governance and organisational transformation.

Emma is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
