LGIM appoints Margaret Ammon as Chief Risk Officer

Legal & General Investment Management Holdings Limited (LGIMH) today announced the appointment of Margaret Ammon as Chief Risk Officer, subject to regulatory approvals.

Currently Chief Risk Officer for Asset Management, M&G plc, Margaret will join LGIM in February 2020 and be responsible for the oversight and development of LGIM’s risk functions globally, reporting to Michelle Scrimgeour the CEO of LGIM.

Prior to joining M&G in London, Margaret was Chief Risk Officer for Colonial First State Global Asset Management (2015-2017); APAC Head of Risk for Schroders (2011-2015); and Chief Risk Officer for Old Mutual Asset Managers (2006-2011). Margaret also worked in financial risk management at KMPG (2000-2006). She has worked in the UK, Asia and Australia.
