Legal & General does the double for second year in a row
LGIM Real Assets has followed its previous success at the Association of Real Estate (AREF) Investment Performance awards 2019 with a double win and clean sweep this week for awards based on consistent long-term performance.

LGIM Real Assets LPI Income Property Fund received the award for Performance (5-year, risk-adjusted, absolute return) for a third consecutive year, and Industrial Property Investment Fund (IPIF) won the award for Performance (5-year, risk-adjusted, relative return) for the second year in a row.
This is the ninth year that AREF has made a small number of awards in recognition of funds that have consistently provided attractive, risk-adjusted performance to investors. The awards are an independent recognition of a funds strong performance and ability to deliver attractive, risk-adjusted performance to investors.
Bill Hughes, Head of LGIM Real Assets:"The AREF awards are an independent recognition of our strong performance and expertise to deliver attractive, risk-adjusted performance to investors. It is unprecedented for any organisation to achieve a clean sweep in these awards, particularly for two years in a row. These awards reflect a great team effort all round and are a high profile industry endorsement of our platform’s ability to deliver consistent returns for our investors."
