Chris DeMarco

Chris has been Managing Director of UK Pension Risk Transfer in our institutional retirement business (LGRI) since February 2017. He was previously Head of Institutional Client Management and Strategy in our investment management business (LGIM).

As MD of UK PRT, Chris has lead the business in securing around £30 billion of pension scheme member benefits including several momentous transactions such as a £4.4 billion buy-in with the British Airways sponsored Airways Pension Scheme and a £4.6 billion partial buyout for the Rolls-Royce UK Pension Fund.

Prior to Legal & General, Chris was an Investment Consultant and Partner at Aon Hewitt. Chris has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry including senior roles at Credit Suisse, HSBC and Salomon Brothers.
