To date, we have invested £3.3 billion in transition finance, including £1.4 billion in renewable energy, £1.2 billion in green bonds and £0.7 billion in other solutions (such as technology, infrastructure and real estate).

We have invested over £1 billion in Cardiff, transforming the city centre and generating excellent financial performance. Our regeneration of Cardiff has not only created state-of-the-art workspace, homes and better transport, but also a sense of arrival when people step off the train into Central Square. Cardiff shows the scale of our ambition and our work is by no means finished.

Our investment management business is a major global investor with total assets under management (AUM) of £1.2 trillion, of which £378 billion (2022: £332.2 billion) is in strategies explicitly linked to ESG criteria.
