The new role reflects Legal & General’s ongoing commitment to exploring new housing investment opportunities both in the UK and Internationally.

Legal & General Capital (LGC), Legal & General Group’s alternative asset platform and a leading direct investor, developer, and operator in residential property, announces that it has hired Annalise Cook as Senior Investment Associate for Housing. This new role, reporting to the Head of Housing Investment, Vanisha Thakrar, reflects Legal & General’s ongoing commitment to scaling up and expanding its diversified housing platform both in the UK and internationally.
Cook brings with her a wealth of knowledge in housing investment, joining from Build-to-Rent developer Hub Residential, where she worked with their investors on new acquisitions, disposals, strategy, and capital raising. Prior to this, Cook worked at CBRE Capital Advisors in their investment banking team, contributing to Pan-European mandates across all asset classes.
In her new role, Cook will work closely with LGC’s Head of Investment for Housing, Vanisha Thakrar, to explore new housing investment opportunities as LGC’s multi-tenure residential platform expands both in the UK and internationally.
