Steve Davis

Since joining Legal & General in 2018, Steve’s worked within LGIM as MD of our Personal Investing Business and more recently as Chief Operating Officer of our Retail Business.

The Retail business includes our Protection, Workplace Pensions, Retail Annuities and Home Finance businesses in the UK and internationally. Steve’s accountable for customer service delivery and excellence, agile and cultural transformation of employees and processes, and enterprise strategy across the whole business.

Steve joined Legal & General from Aegon, where he had led the programme of work to integrate a new platform acquisition into its business. Before that, he spent several years with Zurich Financial Services in the UK and Europe. He worked in a range of executive roles spanning operations and service delivery, technology and change delivery, and agile mindset and cultural transformation.

Steve lives in Wiltshire. He enjoys a range of sports, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and two young sons.
